Houston, January 23, 2026 – Vibrantz Technologies today announced three executive leadership appointments: Doug Owenby to the newly created role of chief operations officer (COO) and John Paul (JP) Blanchard as president of Advanced Materials, both effective January 26, 2026; and Justin (JD) Bowlin as chief human resources & communications officer, effective February 2, 2026. These strategic appointments underscore the company’s commitment to operational excellence and long-term growth.

The creation of the COO position marks a key step in Vibrantz’s leadership evolution as the company scales a global platform spanning advanced materials, color solutions and performance coatings. Partnering closely with business leaders, Owenby will drive execution discipline and consistent operating standards across Vibrantz’s worldwide manufacturing and innovation network. In parallel, Bowlin will lead Vibrantz’s HR and communications functions, and Blanchard will oversee the Advanced Materials segment, reinforcing leadership depth across people, communications and portfolio execution.

Owenby joins Vibrantz with more than three decades of industrial leadership experience. Most recently, he served as chief operations officer at Pactiv Evergreen Inc., where he led global manufacturing, supply chain and procurement functions. Throughout his career, Owenby has specialized in implementing operating systems that strengthen safety, quality and delivery performance in complex global environments.

Blanchard brings deep experience leading industrial businesses and shifting commodity businesses into high-growth, specialty-focused portfolios. He previously served as president and CEO of Brickworks North America and has held senior leadership roles at U.S. Silica and EP Minerals, where he helped drive operational improvements and execute strategic growth priorities.

Bowlin joins Vibrantz with extensive experience leading human resources and communications for manufacturing-focused organizations. Most recently, he served as chief human resources & communications officer at Pactiv Evergreen, where he led enterprise HR strategy and communications. Prior to that, Bowlin led HR for the Global Operations organization at The Kraft Heinz Company, supporting frontline and leadership teams across complex, multi-site environments.
